Signal Match
Submission for Godot Wild Jam 98
PLAYING THE TUTORIAL FIRST IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Always wanted to play around with function generators? What's that, you don't know what they are? Well fret not, we can solve _both_ problems with this small game about being the bottom ladder employee in charge of recreating signals
Known issues/missing features:
- Victory screen and cut-scene doesn't trigger if you finish between 16 and 6hrs left
- Signal is still generated even if function generator is turned off
- No way to quickly reset signals
- No zoom options to make deciphering the signals easier
- One of the signals in Hard difficulty will not accept the response even though the lines overlap (the line offset is almost correct but not exactly correct, which is overtly strict and not intended)

What a lovely game! The sliders being so satisfying to move around (with their "clicks" and "thunks") was really engrossing. I had an urge to click everything that looked like it could might make a satisfying noise haha. Messing with the waves was fun and predictable, and I felt the game eased me in well and am glad I played the tutorial. I would be excited for more haptic objects on the generator. I also sometimes got confused as to what wave I was editing in multi-waveform puzzles on hard mode.
Seeing Eirika become more and more tired on their 24 hour shift was enjoyable and motivating. I found the time pressure positively discomforting as well, especially when confronted with complex waves on hard mode.
Thank you so much for making it, what a lovely game!
